funeral(for my leaves)

I started to bring up plants this spring. They was growing up both quickly and healthily. But some leaves died soon because of withering or weather.I raised them as my own children,so felt kind of lost. Then I decided to have their funeral. The photographs are their ashes of white veins.I think these are Japanese “IEI” that is the portraits of deceased person.

But the plants put forth new leaves and buds soon.It reminds me the past, the present, and the future.
